Borgo a Mozzano is well-known for its stimulating concerts and often provocative conferences held in the green theatre of its public gardens. I am definitely going to this recital, starring the Ludwig Trio, having been kindly informed by Lia from the town’s brilliant music school staff.

The concert features two trios (note string, not piano trios) that aren’t that often heard. They are early but wonderful works and, in the firefly-lit warm midsummer evenings that have seduced us in our part of the world they will wrap their arms around us with their inspirational harmonies.
