Hi, we’ve upsized! Not only that, but we’ve met lots of new friends just like us, and also three nice turtles that are real fun to be with.
It’s lovely to get so much more space in our lives. It was ok to stay with Francis and Sandra but we just got bigger and bigger and the fish tank always remained the same size.
We’re always glad to meet up with our old owners and we can assure Francis and Sandra that we miss them. For us, however, it’s rather like moving from a bed-sit to a huge palace. We just got too big for our fish tank. We are certainly no longer small fry now! Our weight on the scales must have increased a hundred times by hook or by crook.
We are being cared for as well as ever and a nice girl gives us lots of food every day. She is very efficient and we certainly don’t have to fish for compliments from her.
If you miss us don’t forget that there are plenty more fish in the sea and that no good fish goes anywhere without a porpoise!
Oh, by the way we wrote this message to you last fish Friday.
Enough for now. If there’s any fishy business going on here we’ll certainly let you know.
All the fishiest of best wishes and thank Francis, especially, and piscean Sandra for having been our nurse-sharks and looking after us in such a fin way.
Tira and Molla
Ps don’t forget….our bubbles are better than our bait, especially on a finny day like today. Also, you may miss us from time to time but please don’t carp on sad thoughts…you’ve been pure gold to us!
From Denise: Ciao Francis, I’m so happy for Tira and Molla, what a lovely pond they sure are going to have a great time with their new friends, I will miss them as much as you, but you have made a very good decision to move them.
Thanks Denise for always caring for them while I was away.
Just land me into the situation we had discussed the matter and this decision be it on your head I had not agreed and that is that they were our beautiful goldfish which I so enjoyed I was hoping that we would have little ones that being the case certainly the tank would have been too small but not really for Tira and Molla just so stupid you could have got a slightly bigger tank thanks for that I will demand them returned toute suite no nonsense Francis this seems to be a spite act you listen to everyone else not me as it is it went in the same way with the rabbits you gave all those away the bea hives also and not even offered any honey or at least at a discount. Why purposely hurt me not only that Molla was special as if you remember one evening on our return from an event I found one floating and Molla half gone I gave it mouth to mouth respiration and happily he survived. I mean this fish he or she was so special to us not only they were a special check on the water quality as you will remember the tap water killed our first fish and so we got fountain water for them which worked wonderfully well. It is so irresponsible of you to behave in this way without giving me prior warning just in your face this is gratuitous psychological damage perpetrated against me no less. You called me fish face once I was not amused nor am I amused now by your horrid action against our fish and I. I want a public apology for your action as I demand a public apology from the person who threw water at us in the village a few years ago. This is cruel indeed you know that I am having a tough time and this is the payback I cannot believe that you could be so uncaring to my feelings in this matter.
I do hope that they will settle in with the others no bullying or temper tantrums no feeding competition and that certainly they now will grow bigger in size as goldfish grow according to their surrounding area. So maybe next time we visit we will see larger fish. I wonder what will happen in the Winter if you remember I too had goldfish in the garden pond but sadly the icy conditions froze them. I do hope that these fish are kept indoors in Winter. Do let us know.
My wrath is quelled certainly Sophia is most welcome to our darling Tira e Molla goldfish. I am sure that she will indeed look after them admirably and there will be no more scares of mechanical failures for oxygen in the tank. Good luck to Tira e Molla and their new found companions in a new setting of fishpond life!
