Today, May 1st, is a day which celebrates both religious and political events. It’s the start of the month dedicated to the Virgin Mary in the Catholic world and it’s also a day commemorating worker’s rights. This year these festive events will be muted because of a situation which has affected the whole planet. What better comfort then than to look back on happier years when we could still join up with friends and family …….with the hope that these times will soon be with us again!
