More About Dante and Us

I’ve mentioned Dante in several of my posts. This year commemorates the seven hundredth anniversary of his death and it may be useful to list below those posts involving the ‘sommo poeta’.

You will find several castles where Dante stayed, a walled town where Francesca da Rimini and Paolo conducted their doomed love affair, townspeople declaiming the poet’s lines by heart during a mediaeval festa and much else. Enjoy!
