Back to Mediaeval times with parades, combats, stalls, crafts and games at Vicopisano yesterday. The town has fortifications designed by Brunelleschi who also built Florence cathedral’s famous dome.

Vicopisano is under two hours to get to from where we live and is well-worth visiting at any time.
