Another Sunday passed with the sun finally out after days and days of rain. The afternoon was spent at the lively castagnata (Chestnut) festa at Mologno with lots of stalls

This was followed, at Borgo’s parish church, by the final concert of Giacomo Brunini’s fabulous series: The first half with music was inspired by the church’s beautiful Della Robbia Mary Magdalene sculpture which was introduced to us by Lucrezia Piacentini

The second half had a distinct Brazilian flavour including sambas and Jobim.
