Burlamacchi villas, Bagni di Lucca’s supreme boutique hotel located near the ancient thermal baths ‘Alla Villa’ is offering three adventurous jazz-themed concerts this summer.
We have already enjoyed a Cuban evening and last Saturday master of the Hammond organ Manrico Seghi and his trio entertained us in the hotel’s exquisite gardens. The last concert on August 9th at 9.30pm will present the fine jazz singer Romina Capitani and her trio. Each concert is preceded by an ‘apericena’ (drink and buffet).
Comprising the aristocratic residences of Casa Burlamacchi and Villa San Francesco the hotel, under the aegis of the great Luccan family’s descendant, Francesca, will also include Villa Bertini where Percy Bysshe and Mary Shelley spent their first summer in Italy.

Abbiamo già trascorso una serata cubana e sabato scorso il maestro dell’organo Hammond Manrico Seghi e il suo trio ci hanno intrattenuto negli splendidi giardini dell’hotel. L’ultimo concerto, il 9 agosto alle 21:30, vedrà la partecipazione della bravissima cantante jazz Romina Capitani e del suo trio. Ogni concerto è preceduto da un apericena prenotabile.
Composto dalle residenze aristocratiche di Casa Burlamacchi e Villa San Francesco, l’hotel, sotto l’egida di Francesca, discendente della grande famiglia lucchese, includerà anche Villa Bertini, dove Percy Bysshe e Mary Shelley trascorsero la loro prima estate in Italia.
