Spring has definitely sprung in Longoio. The evenings are still spent snugly round the fire:

Daytime temperatures, however, are truly warm. In our valley flowers are already impatient to awake from their winter lethargy and return to life.
Primroses abound, our Camelia tree is blossoming and I’m at present in a T-shirt and sun-hat.
But I’ll let the photos speak for themselves:
.
Despite the colder climate up here as we are further north the Camelias here too have shown their beautiful colours once again it is delightful to see the daffodils peeping through the dank dark Earth and cold of winter primulas and their vivid colours come bouncing back pigeons are procreating as they coo and preen each other however I fear that the squirrel is somewhat confused as he she built its nest perched high in a tree lined it with cotton wool and capok only to be found by a magpie and yet his her hibernation has not even happened as I keep seeing his antics running around with abundant energy. Nature is most strange at present but even so it is seemingly heralding in the Spring.
Thanks for your very descriptive comment.
