A very informative day spent at Bagni di Lucca’s Villa Bonvisi Webb where my erstwhile teaching partner and friend Giovanni Fascetti presented the Michaela Way project for the reestablishment trans-European pilgrim footpath route linking sites devoted to Saint Michael from Ireland to the Near East. The conference concentrated on Italy from Piedmont to Puglia with particular attention to our own region with contributions from specialists and associations. At the Villa you’ll be able to enjoy for the whole of this month an exhibition on the Michaela Way.

Una giornata molto istruttiva trascorsa alla Villa Bonvisi Webb di Bagni di Lucca, dove il mio ex collega di insegnamento e amico Giovanni Fascetti ha presentato il progetto La Linea Sacra Micaelica per il ripristino del percorso di pellegrinaggio transeuropeo che collega i siti dedicati a San Michele dall’Irlanda al Vicino Oriente. La conferenza si è concentrata sull’Italia dal Piemonte alla Puglia, con particolare attenzione alla nostra regione, con contributi di specialisti e associazioni.
